Gary is the principal of Orthoplus, a specialist orthodontic practice operating from 3 sites in Northwood, Uxbridge and Hemel Hempstead. We have a great team ready to welcome you to our practice. Gary has over 15 years experience as a Invisalign provider, his first case was in 2004.

He adopts an approachable inclusive approach to treatment as shown in his own words below:

Jigar Patel is amongst a small select number of UK clinicians qualified to a consultant and specialist level.

Graduating from Guy’s, Kings and St Thomas Dental Institute in London, Jigar undertook further training in the fields of Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery, Paediatric Dentistry and cosmetic and Implant Dentistry. Jigar was awarded membership to the prestigious Royal College of Surgeons following this period of further training.

Jigar subsequently completed five years of full time specialist and consultant training at Birmingham Dental Hospital and upon graduation was honoured to have been awarded the British Orthodontic Society Medal. An award given by the British Orthodontic Society panel of consultant and specialist judges to only one individual upon graduation in recognition of having completed the best treated patient cases.

In addition to clinical work Jigar actively examines, teaches and lectures. He is involved with dental professional examinations as an examiner for the Royal College of Surgeons. Jigar has extensively lectured and presented both nationally and internationally including being invited to present his work at both the British and American National Orthodontic Conferences. Jigar has also had his work published in multiple professional peer-reviewed journals.

Jigar is currently a part-time NHS consultant at East & North Hertfordshire Trust where he treats an array of complex muti-disciplinary cases and provides advice for specialist colleagues and general practitioners. He is in a unique position to be able to offer and provide the very latest and cutting-edge treatments to patients.

Dr Patel qualified from United Medical and Dental Schools of Guy's and St Thomas' Hospitals in 1997. She completed her specialist training in orthodontics and has been practising orthodontics for over 15 years in specialist practices. She is a member of the Royal College of Surgeons of England.

Prior to specialising in orthodontics she worked in the community dental service, hospitals, and general dental practice where she gained a wide range of experience in oral and maxillofacial surgery, paediatric, and restorative dentistry.

In her spare time, Dr. Patel enjoys travelling and activities related to wellbeing and personal development, such as yoga, gardening and regularly going on long country walks. She also prioritises spending time with friends and family.

After graduating from the University of Nairobi, I began my career in Kenya where I successfully treated vast numbers of patients in all dental disciplines, including orthodontics for over 20 years. I enjoyed volunteering in a number of dental charity camps held in remote areas, treating and educating communities in oral health.

Having attended several orthodontic courses after graduating both in Kenya and the UK, I take great pride in ensuring quality treatment, strong relationships with patients and their families, and an overall positive approach to treatments. I am delighted when my patients receive beautiful smiles brining a sense of confidence to their lives. I am a member of the British Orthodontic Society and the British Dental Association.

When not at work I enjoy spending time with my family, travelling and visiting different countries.

Sanjana is a highly accomplished and passionate Orthodontist, who is dedicated to creating beautiful smiles and providing exceptional care.

Having completed an undergraduate degree in Dentistry at the prestigious King’s College London with Honours, Sanjana returned to King’s to pursue a postgraduate Master’s degree in Orthodontics, achieving Distinction in the field. Her commitment to excellence is further evidenced by gaining a Membership in Orthodontics to the esteemed Royal College of Surgeons England and Glasgow.

Sanjana is able to provide a wide range of Orthodontic treatments for all ages, tailored specifically to suit your individual needs. Her skillset ranges from removable appliances and interceptive treatments to a variety of fixed braces, including clear aligner therapy with Invisalign and Aesthetic Ceramic Braces.

Her experience expands beyond Orthodontics alone, gaining knowledge from previously working in large multi-disciplinary clinics at the Royal London Hospital and Kings College Hospital. This diverse background allows her to meticulously plan Orthodontic treatment with a comprehensive and holistic perspective, ensuring the best possible outcomes for her patients.

In her free time, Sanjana enjoys pilates, running, and going to the theatre.

Donna is the practice manager of Orthoplus and has been working for Orthoplus since 2015. I work between all 3 sites and although it keeps me busy, I enjoy working with such a great team. In my spare time, I love to holiday and spend time with family.

Sarune has been working as an orthodontic nurse/ receptionist for the past 10 years. I absolutely love orthodontics and what impact it has on the teeth and individuals’ self- confidence.

Outside of my working hours, I enjoy Pilates, reading books, baking and travelling!

Qualified as a Dental Nurse at Royal London Hospital 6 years ago and found a love for Orthodontics. I am delighted to be part of the amazing Orthoplus team and helping smiles change. Outside of work Minty is a cycling enthusiast, loves reading and exploring the world.

Liza has been working in dentistry for 28 years and as an orthodontic nurse for 18years. In her spare time she loves outdoor swimming and family time.

I have qualified as a general and orthodontic dental nursing 6 years ago and I have also gained a qualification in botolinum toxin and dermal fillers due to my high interest in cosmetic dentistry and non-invasive cosmetic procedures.

I have originally joined Orthoplus as an orthodontic dental nurse/ receptionist and I've recently decided to take my career further and become the Treatment Co-Ordinator/Assistant Manager at Orthoplus.

I really enjoy seeing perfect and happy smiles all day everyday and that’s what made me dedicate my time in assisting patients throughout their orthodontic journey.

Outside working hours I love travelling with my family and friends and I’m passionate about photography and design.
